Synopsis
Idhaya Thamarai is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by K. Rajeshwar.
The film stars Karthik and Revathi in the lead roles, with Vijay playing a supporting role.
Vijay, an impulsive and angry orphaned youth, falls in love with Manju, his fellow student in college. After a series of events, including a college play where he gets into a fight and is sent to prison, he later meets Manju who is now married to her company owner Ranjith.
It is revealed that Ranjith married Manju to protect her from Vijay's enemy, who seeks revenge for his face being scarred. In the end, Vijay seeks to win Manju back and ultimately kills his rival.
The film was released on 14 January 1990.
