Satya Harishchandra is a 1943 Indian Kannada-language film directed by R. Nagendra Rao. The film stars Subbaiah Naidu, Lakshmibai, and Rao.
The music of the film was composed by R. Sudarshanam with lyrics for the soundtracks penned by Gamiki Ramakrishna Sastry.
Produced as a joint venture with theatre troupe SSS Natakamandali, the film producer A. V. Meiyappan brought the project to life after his 1941 Tamil film Sabapathy's success. R. Nagendra Rao was roped in to direct, while A. T. Krishnaswamy served as assistant director.
The film ran for 100 days at Dharwad and was dubbed in Tamil, making it the first Kannada movie to be dubbed in another language.
