Gopurangal Saivathillai is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Manivannan in his directorial debut and produced by P. Kalaimani.
The movie stars Mohan as the male lead opposite Suhasini and Radha, with S. Ve. Shekher and Vinu Chakravarthy featuring in supporting roles.
The film revolves around a character who is forcibly married to Arukkani (played by Radha), an illiterate village girl whose father couldn't find her another groom. Following this marriage, the protagonist begins a relationship with another woman.
Released on 15 October 1982, Gopurangal Saivathillai was remade in Telugu as Mukku Pudaka (1983) and in Kannada as Brahma Gantu (1985). It also inspired two Tamil TV series: Kasthuri (2006) and Sundari (2021).
