Garuda Saukiyama is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language crime film directed by K. S. Prakash Rao and written by Vietnam Veedu Sundaram.
The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan, Sujatha, Mohan, and Thiagarajan in key roles.
The plot follows Deenadayalan, an orphan raised by Mary who starts with petty offences but progresses to serious crimes as he matures, eventually becoming a feared don. He presents himself publicly as a philanthropic businessman.
Muthukrishnan comes under his influence despite the protagonist's strong sense of justice and reputation as a protector of the poor and oppressed. His family, including wife Lakshmi and daughter Radha, remains largely unaware of his unlawful activities due to this very nature of his work.
The film was released on 25 February 1982 and became a box-office bomb.
