Ganga is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language Western film directed and filmed by M. Karnan.
The movie stars Jaishankar as Ganga, with Major Sundarrajan portraying his father Kathirvelu, and Rajakokila playing the role of Gauri.
Plotting revolves around Kathirvelu, a reformed robber who lives with his wife and son. His son Ganga struggles with alcoholism and an interest in women after being expelled by his father for drunkenness. Following his father's murder by the son's old gang, Ganga takes on the responsibility of performing the last rites while vowing to seek revenge.
The film was released on 15 January 1972 and became a commercial success.
