
Evano Oruvan is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language psychological drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat in his debut in the Tamil film industry. The film is a remake of Kamat's Marathi film, Dombivli Fast, loosely based on the 1993 American Falling Down.
The movie stars Madhavan and Sangeetha, with Seeman acting in a pivotal role. The film's music is composed by P. Sameer, with G. V. Prakash Kumar singing the title song. It is produced by noted Hindi directors Abbas Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla under their home banner, Burmawalla Limited.
The story revolves around Sridhar Vasudevan, a middle-class family man employed in a bank who gets annoyed and flustered by the injustices around him. He is an idealistic and principled individual who recognizes his belonging to society.
