Engal Anna

Engal Anna is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Siddique.

The film stars Vijayakanth and Prabhu Deva in leading roles, alongside an ensemble cast including Pandiarajan, Vadivelu, Namitha, Swarnamalya, Indraja, Lal, Manivannan, and Anandaraj.

The movie is a remake of Siddique's 2003 Malayalam film Chronic Bachelor. It follows the story of Prabhakaran and Bhavani, who are deeply in love but turn enemies when Prabhakaran's father is falsely accused of killing Bhavani's father.

Released on January 14, 2004, Engal Anna became a commercial success.
