Enga Veettu Pillai is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Chanakya and written by Sakthi T. K. Krishnasamy. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi, with S. V. Ranga Rao, M. N. Nambiar, Rathna, and Pandari Bai in supporting roles.
The movie is a remake of the 1964 Telugu film Ramudu Bheemudu and tells the story of two identical but contrasting twins who were separated at birth. The film follows their paths as they cross over time.
Produced by Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani, Enga Veettu Pillai was shot primarily at Vauhini Studios within 45 days. Cinematography was handled by A. Vincent, and editing was done by C. P. Jambulingam. The film was released on January 14, 1965, and became a major box office success, running for over 25 weeks in theatres.
