Enga Ooru Kannagi is a 1981 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by K. Balachander, starring Saritha, Seema, Madhavi, and Sarath Babu with Jeeva as the antagonist.
The film was simultaneously made in Tamil as Enga Ooru Kannagi (Kannagi, from our village) and released on 6 February 1981. The Telugu version won three Nandi Awards.
The lead cast was retained for the Tamil version with a slightly altered supporting cast. Major Sundarrajan and Srikanth were part of the lead cast in both versions.
The film was prominently shot at Veerabhadra Temple, Pattiseema, and also held filming at Godavari. The songs were composed by M. S. Viswanathan, with lyrics penned by Acharya Aatreya.
