Enakkul Oruvan is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language musical thriller film directed by S. P. Muthuraman.
The film stars Kamal Haasan as Madan, a dancer who becomes intrigued by Kalpana (played by Shobana), after she harshly criticizes his performances. It also features Sripriya and Pandari Bai in supporting roles, with Ilaiyaraaja composing the musical score.
Produced by Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandaswamy, Enakkul Oruvan is a reimagining of the Hindi film Karz (1980), itself based on the American film The Reincarnation of Peter Proud (1975).
The plot follows Madan's attempts to win Kalpana's love after she criticizes his performances, leading to a series of events that ultimately result in him being trapped by the police.
