En Veedu (1953) is an Indian bilingual film directed by V. Nagayya and produced simultaneously in Telugu as Naa Illu ('My Home') and Tamil as En Veedu.
The story was written by Devulapalli Krishnasastri and stars Vidhyavathi as Leela, Sivaram portrayed by V. Nagayya himself, and Raja Kumari playing his wife. The film follows the life of an ideal man named Sivaram, a responsible bank employee who loves music and wishes to train his children in it.
After being swayed by the beauty of Leela after meeting Dhanaraj (Lingamurthy), Sivaram loses money from his transaction and is subsequently imprisoned. Upon returning home, he finds his family's circumstances significantly worsened due to his absence and financial loss.
The film features two dance sequences and full-length Hindi songs sung by Meena Kapoor, with the Tamil version having a different supporting cast and locations.
