En Thambi is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar.
The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan and B. Saroja Devi in the lead roles, with supporting performances from K. Balaji and Nagesh.
The story revolves around Sundara Boopathy, a respected wealthy landlord, whose eldest son Kannan struggles to manage family affairs due to neglect after his mother's death. Following her passing, Boopathy remarries Alangaram. The central conflict arises between Kannan and his younger brother Viswam, who is spoiled by their father and harbours resentment towards Kannan. Radha, the cousin of Kannan whom he loves, adds another layer to this complex family dynamic.
The film is a remake of the 1966 Telugu film Aastiparulu and became a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres.
