En Magan is a 1945 Indian Tamil-language romantic war film directed by R. S. Mani and written by A. S. A. Sami.
The film stars N. Krishnamoorthi, U. R. Jeevarathnam, D. Balasubramaniam, and Kumari Kamala in its lead roles.
Based on the American play Waterloo Bridge by Robert E. Sherwood, the story follows a young man from the countryside who arrives in Madras for education and falls in love with the daughter of a successful lawyer. However, his father plans an arranged marriage for him, leading to a rift between them.
The film was created as a World War II-related propaganda film at the request of the government of Tamil Nadu and emerged as a commercial success upon its release on 3 November 1945.
