Synopsis
En Kadhal Kanmani is a 1990 Tamil-language romance film directed by T. J. Joy, marking the debut of Vikram in his acting career.
The plot centers on Vinod, played by Vikram, who is initially a smoking addict, and Hema, played by Rekha Nambiar. The narrative follows Vinod's journey as he learns to stop smoking after falling in love with her.
Produced by staff members of Indian Bank, the film was conceived as a low-budget experimental project before its release. L. Vaidyanathan composed the soundtrack for "En Kadhal Kanmani," with lyrics penned by Vairamuthu.
The film was released on 17 October 1990 and starred Vikram and Rekha Nambiar in their respective roles.
