Synopsis
En Jeevan Paduthu is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by R. Sundarrajan.
The film stars Karthik and Saranya, supported by Sudha Swarnalakshmi, Captain Raju, and Kapil Dev.
Released on June 23, 1988, the movie follows Narmada as she joins a new college after feeling bored at home. She becomes fascinated with Surendran's paintings and books, but is shocked to discover he has committed suicide.
Narmada frequently visits his grave, where the ghost of Surendran appears, advising her to stop. As those around Narmada suspect she may be mentally ill, Surendran reveals he was duped into love by Philomina and genuinely loved her enough to convert to Christianity.
