Synopsis
En Aasai Rasave is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language dance drama film directed by Kasthuri Raja.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Murali, with supporting roles played by Radhika, Roja, and Suvalakshmi. The movie focuses on the lives of karakattam dance artists.
Valayapathi, a karakattam artist, falls in love with Azhagurani, a well-to-do rich woman who leaves her riches behind to be with him. After they separate, Valayapathi raises their child Muthumani in the karakattam tradition.
Muthumani grows up and falls in love with Manoranjitham, but Nagajyoti, claiming to be the best, enters their lives and turns the tide of their relationships. It is revealed that Nagajyoti is Muthumani's cross-cousin with an ulterior motive: reuniting Azhagurani and Valayapathi.
The film was released on 28 August 1998.
