Synopsis
Ellorum Innaattu Mannar is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language film directed by T. Prakash Rao.
The story revolves around two contrasting entities: Valiyan Kodu, a kingdom ruled by Suhadevar, and Valluvan Kundram, an adjacent village led by Thangadurai, a patriotic figurehead.
Starring Gemini Ganesan and B. Saroja Devi in the lead roles, with M.N. Nambiar, M.N. Rajam, and K.A. Thangavelu featured in supporting parts, the narrative explores the conflict arising between these two separate power structures.
The film follows the plans of Divan Alavandhar to marry Veeramani, his biological son, with Kanchana, the king's daughter, and the contrast between this kingdom and the village's values and leadership.
