Synopsis
Ejamaan is a 1993 Tamil-language film directed by R. V. Udayakumar and produced by M. Saravanan, M. S. Guhan, and M. Subrahmaniam of AVM Productions.
The movie stars Rajinikanth as Kandhavelu Vaanavarayan, a feudal chieftain, Meena as Vaitheeswari, his love interest, and Napoleon as Vallavaraayan, his archenemy.
The film revolves around the rivalry between Vanavarayan and Vallavaraayan, with their enmity further sharpened when Vaanavarayan wins the hand of Vaitheeswari. The movie was released on February 18, 1993, and became commercially successful, running for 175 days in theaters.
The plot follows Kandhavelu Vaanavarayan, a feudal chieftain adored by his village, as he navigates his rivalry with archenemy Vallavaraayan and wins the hand of Vaitheeswari, whom Vallavaraayan also desired. The story takes a dark turn when Vallavaraayan convinces the temple priest to mix poison in the holy water.
