Durga is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language children's film directed and written by Rama Narayanan, with dialogue credited to Pugazhmani. The film stars Baby Shamili in the titular dual role alongside Nizhalgal Ravi, Kanaka, and Kitty.
The story follows Durga, the only daughter of a wealthy couple, whose father passes away and her uncle attempts to seize their fortune. Tragedy escalates when her mother is killed by him, and an accomplice named Kitty also plans her demise for the inheritance. However, Durga escapes with the aid of her loyal pets – Ramu (a monkey) and Raja (a dog).
During her flight, she encounters Muthu, a kind-hearted man who befriends her. The film was released on 10 August 1990 and achieved success at the box office.
The film was remade in Kannada as Bhairavi in 1991, with Shamili playing the same role.
