Synopsis
Dumm Dumm Dumm is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Azhagam Perumal and produced by Mani Ratnam under Madras Talkies.
The film stars R. Madhavan and Jyothika, with Vivek, Manivannan, and Murali in pivotal roles. The movie features cinematography by Ramji, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and music composed by Karthik Raja.
The plot follows two career-oriented young people who are pressured into an arranged marriage by their families. Despite initial disagreements, they develop a connection and become attracted to each other. Their wedding is cancelled due to a violent quarrel between their families over cheating at a card game, prompting the couple to make efforts to reunite.
Dumm Dumm Dumm opened on 13 April 2001 to positive reviews and became a commercial hit.
