Synopsis
Devakanya is a 1943 Indian Tamil language Hindu mythological film directed by R. Padmanaban.
The film stars C. Honnappa Bhagavathar and U. R. Jeevarathnam, with support cast including Loose Arumugam, Vaidyanatha Sharma, and Raja Bala.
The movie follows the story of a princess who falls in love with a young man from a palace courtier's family, arranged to teach her music. After an angel intervenes, the young man is transformed into one and they are reunited after the princess's apparent death, thanks to the magic fruit given by the angel.
