Synopsis
David is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
The film stars Vikram and Jiiva in the title roles, alongside Tabu, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani, and Nassar.
The plot revolves around the lives of two different men named David, who are about to take a step that will change their lives forever. One David is a 30-year-old fisherman living in Goa, while the other is a 19-year-old guitarist from Mumbai.
One David falls for his deaf and mute fiancée Roma, while the other struggles with his father's philanthropic attitude and an MLA's attack on him. The two Davids' lives eventually come together in a twist of events.
The film was released worldwide on 1 February 2013 to positive reviews but did not perform well at the box office. It was also simultaneously made in Hindi with slight variations in the cast and story.
