Synopsis
Daasi is a 1952 Indian Telugu-language drama film produced by C. Lakshmi Rajyam under the Rajyam Pictures banner and directed by C. V. Ranganatha Das, with supervision by L. V. Prasad.
The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, C. Lakshmi Rajyam, and S. V. Ranga Rao, with music composed by C. R. Subburaman & Susarla Dakshina Murthy.
The movie tells the story of Ramaiah, a horse-cart driver, his wife Lakshmi, who works as a maid at Zamindar Badrinath, and their son Subbadu. When Badrinath decides to remarry, Lakshmi becomes pregnant again with Ramarao's child, leading to a complicated web of relationships and deception.
