Synopsis
Chinnavar is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Gangai Amaran.
The film stars Prabhu, Chandrasekhar, and Kasthuri.
The story revolves around Muthu and Veerasamy, two fishermen who share the same boat. Muthu lives with his mother, while Veerasamy is a carefree friend who falls in love with Ponni. However, he marries Meena, who secretly loves Muthu. When Kumar, a rich fishermen union leader, asks Veerasamy to marry Meena, Veerasamy reluctantly agrees.
As the story unfolds, Kumar's true intentions are revealed, and he kidnaps Meena, forcing her into a marriage with another man. In the end, Muthu saves his mother from Kumar's abuse, and Veerasamy apologizes for his earlier mistakes.
