Chinnappadas is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language film directed by C. V. Rajendran, his final work as a director. The movie stars Sathyaraj and Radha.
The plot follows Chinnappadass, a law graduate and professor who gets suspended from his job after defending his sister against rowdies linked to corrupt ministers. Compelled by circumstances, he joins the smuggling operation led by Ravi Prakash. When Dileep attempts to rape Radha, she tragically takes her own life.
Chinnappadass then fakes amnesia in an attempt to uncover the truth behind these events. His investigation leads him to discover that Radha bears a striking resemblance to Dr. Kavitha, who is revealed as his long-lost twin sister. With assistance from Inspector Balaraman, Chinnappadas exposes all the antagonists and achieves justice.
The film was released on 28 July 1989 and is a remake of the 1987 Hindi film Insaaf. The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
