Synopsis
Chinna Mapillai is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed and co-written by Santhana Bharathi.
The film stars Prabhu and Sukanya, with Radha Ravi, Anand, Sivaranjani, and Visu in supporting roles.
Thangavel, a bachelor working as a coolie at a bus stand, goes to look for a bride but is insulted by someone. He later meets Ambalavanan, the marriage broker he helped earlier, who shares his own experience of being insulted by Aalavandhan, the father of Janaki.
The film was released on 14 January 1993 and has been remade in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
