Synopsis
Chinna Durai is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by R. Chandra.
The film stars Sarathkumar and Roja, with Sithara, Vijayakumar, and Manivannan playing supporting roles.
The movie marked the directorial debut of Chandra, who earlier assisted Aabavanan. The filming was entirely held at Pollachi.
The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
Deccan Herald praised the film's child actor, Mani Vannan, and costumes, particularly those of Roja and Sarathkumar. However, D. S. Ramanujam of The Hindu noted that the film would have generated more response if it had been released five years earlier.
The film was released on 13 March 1999.
