Synopsis
Chinna Chinna Kannile is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language heist thriller film directed by Ameerjan.
The film stars Prakash Raj, Khushbu, and Nassar in key roles.
The story revolves around Rathi, a music video director who lives with her husband Ravi and their two children. Unbeknownst to her, Ravi is a robber who carries out smart crimes with his partner Sabesan.
After a diamond heist gone wrong, Ravi gets caught while Sabesan escapes. Ravi hides the diamonds in his house before being taken away by the police. During custody, Ravi is shot by Dev, but manages to survive due to medical intervention.
Sabesan then questions Ravi about the diamonds and enters Rathi's household as Ravi's friend. The film follows what transpires from this point on.
Chinna Chinna Kannile was released on 1 September 2000.
