Synopsis
Chidambara Rahasiyam is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed and written by Visu.
The story centers on Chidambaram, a simpleton from Karaikudi belonging to a wealthy family who has had a crush on his cousin Uma since childhood. When Chidambaram's parents propose marriage to Uma's mother Ponnazhagi, they are ridiculed for Chidambaram's perceived naivety.
Determined to prove himself worthy of Uma or simply to find purpose after being mocked, Chidambaram seeks employment at Amba. This leads him into a situation where he is framed for murder, forcing Visu and Arun Pandian to team up with the local police led by Delhi Ganesh to uncover the real culprits.
The film stars Visu, S. Ve. Shekher, Delhi Ganesh, Arun Pandian, Ilavarasi, and Manorama in its cast.
