Chellakkannu is a 1995 Indian Tamil romantic drama film directed by N. Rathnam and produced by R. V. Mahalingam and Vijaya Panneer Selvam.

The story revolves around cousins Chellakannu and Chandra, who have loved each other since childhood. Their families arrange for them to marry, but their plans are complicated when Dhandapani, Chellakannu's father, punishes Thangavel, Chandra's father, at a village Panchayat meeting.
Thangavel becomes humiliated and cancels his daughter's marriage, leading to a conflict between the two families. The film follows their struggles and relationships as they navigate love, family, and community expectations.
