Avasara Kalyanam is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by V. T. Thyagarajan and produced by Subalakshmi Movies.
The movie stars Jaishankar and Nagesh in the lead roles, with Vanisri, Rama Prabha, and V. K. Ramasamy supporting them.

The film's plot revolves around two friends, Sekar and Ramu, who journey to Madras for employment but find their money stolen. To resolve his financial woes, Ramu pretends to be wealthy and marries a rich girl. When Sekar reveals the truth about Ramu's marriage to this young lady, it creates conflict between them.
Ramu's deceit subsequently separates Sekar from his own lover. The narrative then explores how Ramu's actions lead to separations among different pairs, focusing on their eventual reunion despite these obstacles.
