Synopsis
Aval Yaar is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language legal thriller film directed by K. J. Mahadevan.
The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan and Pandari Bai, alongside S. V. Ranga Rao and Sowcar Janaki in the supporting cast.
The plot revolves around Mahalakshmi, daughter of a wealthy banker named Sahasranamam, who is married against her wishes to a lawyer (Sadhasivam), played by Sivaji Ganesan.
Her marriage leads to conflict with her father and involves characters like Bhoopathi, his nephew, Asha (her sweetheart), and Bahadur, an exploiter.
The film was released on 30 October 1959 and did not do well at the box office.
