Synopsis
Athisaya Penn is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by M. V. Raman and starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Vyjayanthimala.
The film is a remake of the Hindi film Aasha (1957) and was released on March 6, 1959.
The movie follows the story of Manivannan, a kind-hearted individual who assists the less fortunate despite his privileged background. He encounters Lally at a hotel in Madras, where she is unable to settle her bill.
The film features music composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu and stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao as Manivannan, with Vyjayanthimala in the lead role.
