K. A. Thangavelu
Arutperunjothi is a 1971 Indian Tamil-language devotional film directed by A.T. Krishnaswamy. The movie stars Master Sridhar, along with actors A.P. Nagarajan, K.A. Thangavelu, M.Saroja, Devaki, and T.S.Balaiah.
The film is based on the life of Ramalinga Swamigal, popularly known as Vallalar. It marks the final directorial work by A.T. Krishnaswamy.
The soundtrack features music composed by T.R. Pappa and lyrics for some songs written by Ramalinga Swamigal himself. Notable playback singers include Sirkazhi Govindarajan, S.Janaki, and T.V. Rathnam.
