Synopsis
Archanai Pookal is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Gokula Krishnan in his directorial debut after assisting K. Bhagyaraj.
The lead actors are Chandrasekhar and Mohan, with Rajyalakshmi and Subhathra also starring in the main cast, alongside Sangili Murugan, Manorama, Poornam Viswanathan, and Senthil.
Ilaiyaraaja composed the film's music soundtrack.
The film was released on 15 October 1982 but unfortunately failed at the box office. Critically, it received praise from Sindhu-Jeeva of Kalki for its pleasant visuals and beautiful music, although they also panned the editing and criticized some symbolic shots as unnecessary.
