Aravalli is a 1957 Indian Tamil-language fantasy action film directed by Krishna Rao and written by V. N. Sambantham, produced by Modern Theatres.
The film stars G. Varalakshmi, S. Mohana, S. G. Eshwar, Mynavathi, and Kaka Radhakrishnan in lead roles, with A. Karunanidhi, T. P. Muthulakshmi, M. S. Draupadi, and V. Gopalakrishnan in supporting roles.
The plot revolves around two sisters with magical powers who co-rule the kingdom of Nellurupattinam. An astrologer devises a plan to depose them in favor of their nephew, who wins the right to the throne after overcoming three challenges and marries his first cousin. However, his aunt and new mother-in-law conspire against him using her daughter to poison him.
After dying, the young man is resurrected and seeks revenge from King Dharma, but instead of punishing his aunts, Dharma orders the execution of the man's wife.
The film was released on 22 October 1957.
