Synopsis
Arasa Kattalai is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language historical action film directed by M.G. Chakrapani.
The movie stars M.G. Ramachandran and B. Saroja Devi, with Jayalalithaa in a supporting role alongside M.N. Nambiar and S.A. Ashokan.
The plot revolves around themes of duty and conspiracy. A monarch believes he has committed a fault and dies by suicide, naming Vijayan as his successor. Before dying, the king instructs Vijayan to protect his subjects and return power to the people.
Vijayan is described as a man of the people and a fearless knight. However, a minister in the king's court also wants to occupy the throne and decides to kill Vijayan.
