Annamalai is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions.
The movie stars Rajinikanth, Khushbu, and Sarath Babu in the lead roles. Radha Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, and Manorama feature in supporting roles.
The film is a remake of the 1987 Hindi film "Khudgarz", which was itself adapted from Jeffrey Archer's novel "Kane & Abel".
The story centers on two childhood friends: Annaamalai, who works as a poor milkman, and Ashok, a wealthy hotelier. Their close relationship faces opposition from Ashok's father, creating conflict between the two protagonists.
Principal photography began in March 1992 and lasted for 45 working days. The music was composed by Deva, with lyrics written by V.
