Angala Parameswari is a 2002 Indian Kannada-language Fantasy film directed by Sai Prakash and starring Meena, Prema, and Sai Kumar.
The film tells the story of Angala Parameswari, a deity incarnated by Parvati to protect the earth and restore peace and righteousness. In an Indian village, two families arrange the marriage of their children, Shankar and Kaveri, but their plans are disrupted when the evil uncle Lakshmana drowns Kaveri's parents' boat, killing them.
Kaveri survives and is rescued by the temple priest, who finds her crawling up to the idol of Angala Parameswari to drink milk. Miraculously, Angala Parameswari appears and feeds Kaveri, setting in motion a chain of events that will restore peace and righteousness.
The film was written and directed by Sai Prakash and stars Meena, Prema, and Sai Kumar. It was dubbed in Tamil as Angala Parameswari, in Telugu as Grama Devatha, and in Hindi as Maa Devi Maa.
