Amma Vanthachu (1992) is a Tamil comedy-drama film directed and written by P. Vasu, produced by Poornima Bhagyaraj.
The lead roles are played by K. Bhagyaraj and Khushbu, with Baby Sridevi appearing as the child artist. Notable supporting actors include Delhi Ganesh, Vennira Aadai Moorthy, Chelladurai, Pandu, Rajesh Kumar, LIC Narasimhan, and Junior Balaiah.
The story revolves around Nandakumar, a medical representative living alone in Bombay, who encounters the quick-tempered woman Nandini, a detergent seller. He initially seeks marriage but pursues her romantically. They fall in love, and surprisingly, even Nandini's father (a retired teacher) accepts their union.
The film was released on 26 June 1992 and stars K. Bhagyaraj, Khushbu, and Baby Sridevi. It is a remake of the Kannada film Ee Jeeva Ninagagi and failed at the box office. For her performance, Sridevi won the Cinema Express Award for Best Child Artist.
