Amma Enge (1964) is an Indian Tamil-language film directed by G. Viswanathan.
The film stars Muthuraman, R. S. Manohar, Chandrakantha, and Rajasri.
Ranjitham is accused of stealing a diamond ring and flees with her father. After her father's death, she joins a family as a nanny for a young girl named Amutha. The girl's mother has left the family with unknown whereabouts. Ranjitham's name is cleared when the girl's father falls in love with her and marries her.
Amutha runs away, but is later found safe by her father and Ranjitham. Ranjitham agrees to marry Amutha's father, who then prepares for their wedding in Madras. However, a family aunt plots against them, leading to a dramatic confrontation.
The film was released on 27 November 1964.
