Ambikapathy is a 1937 Indian Tamil musical period film directed by Ellis R. Dungan.
The film stars M.K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar as Ambikapathy, the son of poet Serugulathur Sama, opposite M.R. Santhanalakshmi as Princess Amaravathy.
Set in 1083 A.D., the film tells a Romeo-Juliet type romance between Ambikapathy and Amaravathy, despite their families' status and social class differences.
