Synopsis
Ambigai Neril Vanthaal is a 1984 Tamil-language drama film directed by Manivannan and starring Mohan, Radha, and Urvashi.
The plot revolves around Devaki who agrees to marry Ravi, but her life with him becomes difficult after she learns he is a drunkard and womaniser. He intends to have another child bride (Urvashi's character) but this plan unravels when his father falls ill.
Amidst the ensuing chaos, Devaki declares herself a 'thaasi' and seems poised to leave him and their son. Ravi intervenes, preventing her departure and confessing his faults in an attempt at reconciliation.
The film's soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, released on 8 December 1984.
