Synopsis
Airport is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Joshi and written by S. N. Swamy.
The film stars Sathyaraj, Gautami, and M. G. Soman.
Released on December 9, 1993, the movie follows Captain Arjun, a pilot who works for Indian Airlines and only flies government planes.
A Union Minister calls him, informing that his daughter has been kidnapped by terrorists while on a tour to the Pakistani border along with her friends.
Arjun agrees to bring his daughter back safely and successfully completes the mission, but discovers that the girl and her friends are actually terrorists whose plan is to kill the prime minister.
The film received critical acclaim but underperformed at the box office.
