Synopsis
Agaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by T. Nagarajan.
The film stars Nandaa and Archana, with Biju Menon portraying the antagonist, and Vivek, Seetha, and Raj Kapoor among others in supporting roles.
The movie follows Thiru, a young Airtel employee who gets entangled in a conflict with Pasupathy, the brother of the waterfront mafia's leader Varma, during local elections. Varma swears to kill Thiru, agreeing to spare his life.
Released on 16 February 2007, the film explores the consequences of this threat on Thiru's family and their lives.
The title "Agaram" is a reference to the first letter of the Tamil alphabet.
