Synopsis
Aarupadai is a 2009 Tamil film directed by Suseenthiran and starring Vijayakanth, Meena, and Vivek.
The film begins with Guru (Vijayakanth) in a serious condition being rushed to the hospital. Some goons kidnap him from his hospital bed and throw him in a lake. Guru was a struggling photographer.
Produced by Dhananjayan, the film's domestic net box office collection was ₹525 crore against an investment of ₹650 crore.
