Synopsis
Aaravalli Sooravalli is a 1946 Indian Tamil-language film directed by C. V. Raman and produced by Southern Theatres.
The movie tells the story of two powerful sisters, Aaravalli and Sooravalli, who rule their kingdom and establish a matriarchal society, possessing magical abilities. They face a challenge from the king of the neighboring country, whose goal is to bring them under his control.
The film features an all-star cast including K. Thavamani Devi, V. A. Chellappa, P. S. Govinda, M. R. Santhanalakshmi, and Serukulathur Sama.
G. Ramanathan composed the music for the soundtrack, with lyrics by Papanasam Sivan and G. S. Bhagavathar. Notable singers include V. A. Chellappa, Kali N. Rathnam, K. Thavamani Devi, and T. S. Durairaj.
