18 Vayasu

18 Vayasu is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller film directed by R. Panneerselvam.

Karthik develops a psychological disorder after witnessing his father's suicide, displaying animalistic behavior when anxious. He meets Gayathri, an orphan who is constantly harassed by her caretaker, while Karthik faces ill-treatment from his mother due to her life with her paramour.

As the story unfolds, Karthik kills his mother and runs away, fearing the law. The film follows Karthik's attempts to win back Gayathri's love, which becomes the central plot of the movie.
