Synopsis
Vanjagan is a 2006 Indian Tamil language thriller film directed by A. M. Baskar.
The film stars Sujibala, Prathap, and Suman, with supporting roles from Senthil, Pandu, Chinni Jayanth, Chandrahassan Jayaprakash, Vaiyapuri, and Maaran.
Produced by S. V. Jayaprakash Radhai, the film follows a disfigured man who is chased by three rowdies after throwing a suitcase into a nearby flat. The suitcase contains a diary that predicts the murders of four influential persons in the city.
A newspaper reporter named Jeeva witnesses the incident and teams up with her boyfriend Siva, a private detective, to investigate the murders. As they dig deeper, they uncover a web of deceit and corruption that leads them to two mentally handicapped suspects who were driven to kill by a scam involving a chit fund company.
The film was released on 4 August 2006.
