Synopsis
Mohini is a 1948 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Lanka Sathiyam and produced by M. Somasundharam.
The movie stars T. S. Balaiah, V. N. Janaki, Madhuri Devi, M. G. Ramachandran, Pulimoottai Ramaswami, M. N. Nambiar, and R. Balasubramaniam.
Notable production details include a scene featuring a flying horse inspired by Arabian Nights, achieved using optical printing on R. Balasubramaniam's performance with the help of a machine horse, which required a budget of ₹40,000 (approximately US$53,000 in 2023).
